A small introduction about my self

Himanshu Sharma

Electronics and Communication Engineer

I am a Electronics and Communication Engineer. I also hold a minor degree in Computer Science and Engineering. I have over 5 years of experience in Python programming language and I like to create solutions to various engineering problems using my skills. Currently my areas of interests include Analog and Digital Telecommunications, Digital Signal and Image Processing and Web Development and Web Scraping. I have over 2 years of experience with Flask framework and Heroku environment.

Apart from these technical interests, I have interests in reading about my culture, Hindu mythologies and Hinduism. I hold special interest in horror, brain storming movies like Shutter Island and historical documentaries. In my free time, I like to read books of educational importance or just walk around and explore things.

I can say i’m quite good at

I am quite fluent in Python and MATLAB and other scripting languages like LaTeX. When considering Web Development, most of my work deals with backend with little amount of frontend. With Python being the language of my great interest, I started making many projects which at one time I never thought of. API Developer (Intern)

Developed APIs for Winuall.com which takes a snapshot of the question from any textbook, and then uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms and pytesseract (Python module) to detect text in the images and determine the subject of the problem. Once it decides the subject of the problem, it transfers the problem to the concerned expert. Presently the subjects include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
